 ECHS Recruitment 2026 out The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) has invited applications for various posts on a contract basis at ECHS Polyclinics located in Ara, Danapur, Muzaffarpur, Chhapra, Darbhanga, Motihari, Hajipur, Siwan, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Samastipur, Buxar, and Patna-II.

These appointments will be made for one year, which may be extended for another year or until the candidate reaches the maximum age limit, depending on performance and other terms.

Available Posts & Basic Eligibility

  • OIC Polyclinic
    Graduate candidates who are retired officers from the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force and drawing defence pension can apply. A minimum of 5 years’ experience, computer knowledge, and age up to 63 years is required.

  • Medical Specialist / Gynaecologist
    Candidates must have MD/MS or DNB in the relevant specialty with required experience. Age limit ranges between 66 to 68 years depending on the post. Reservations apply for Ex-Servicemen and civilians.

  • Medical Officer / Dental Officer
    MBBS/BDS qualified candidates with minimum experience and computer knowledge are eligible. Maximum age is 66 years.

  • Radiographer, Laboratory Assistant, Laboratory Technician, Physiotherapist
    Relevant Diploma or Degree, required work experience, and computer knowledge are mandatory. Age limit is 56 years.

  • Pharmacist & Nursing Assistant
    Candidates must hold valid pharmacy or nursing qualifications, registration, work experience, and computer knowledge. Age limit is 56 years.

  • Dental Hygienist / Assistant / Technician
    Required diploma, dental registration, and experience are compulsory. Maximum age is 56 years.

  • Driver
    Candidates should have Class 8 pass qualification, valid driving licence, and at least 5 years of driving experience. Age limit is 53 years.

  • Female Attendant, Chowkidar, Safaiwala
    Literate candidates with relevant experience can apply. Age limit is 53 years.

  • Data Entry Operator / Clerk / Peon
    Graduate or clerical trade candidates with computer knowledge and experience are eligible. Age limit is 53 years.

Salary

Monthly remuneration ranges from ₹21,800 to ₹1,30,000, depending on the post.
