Job Role Overview
The Network Operations Center (NOC) team manages transportation activities across Amazon’s supply chain network in regions such as India, North America, and Europe.
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the smooth and timely movement of shipments from vendors to Amazon Fulfillment Centers and from fulfillment centers to delivery hubs.
If any transportation issue occurs, the NOC team investigates the problem, collaborates with relevant teams, and resolves it quickly to maintain uninterrupted supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with carriers, vendors, warehouses, and fulfillment centers

Monitor transportation operations and ensure timely pickup and delivery

Identify operational issues that may impact customer experience

Analyze transportation performance using internal tools and reports

Escalate critical issues to the relevant teams when necessary

Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders

Work in a 24×7 operational environment

Inbound Operations

Ensure vendors and carriers deliver shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers on schedule
